DAILY POST reports that the torso of the murdered man was dumped on median of the East-West Road, while the severed head was found inside a gutter by the roadside.
The victim is identified as a 17-year-old boy from Omuike Aluu community in Rivers state.
An eyewitness from Rumuosi told newsmen that they woke up early Monday to find the decapitated remains of the unidentified man.
Police have moved into the area to investigate the incident.
Elsewhere, at Omurele community in Ikwerre Local Government Area, at least four people have been reported killed, including one person reportedly beheaded.
It was gathered that suspected cultists invaded Omerelu last night, killing four persons, including one identified as Okechukwu Eyindah.
The other three victims were simply identified by their nicknames as Banigo, Too Much Money and Scatter.
The father of one of the victims who confirmed the incident to our correspondent on telephone said the community is in shock over the killings.
