is one of the club most promising young players. He was born in 2004 in France and is eligible to represent Nigeria at international level.
Will he succeed Ousmane Dembélé and Eduardo Camavinga? The young Rennes midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu, much appreciated by his trainers, has extended his contract by one year until 2024. This is the maximum contract length in France for a player under 18. On July 1, 2020, he signed his first professional contract at the club. Lesley Ugochukwu was born on March 26, 2004 in Rennes, at the Sagesse clinic, located a few steps from La Piverdière, the Stade Rennais training center.
