Gang war and Cannibalism in Benin

Benin city, Edo state is home to the great University of Benin. Uniben is famously known as the motherland of some of Nigeria's most notorious gangs.

These gangs formed to "uphold equity" has been so bastardized and drawn in supremacy battles against each other from 90s, these meaningless war has seen hundreds dead in the most gruesome manner. There is a video below of the killers eating the heart, liver and drinking the blood of their victims.

The barbaric cult killings has led many Edo sons into exile, properties/businesses abandoned, excessive brain drain, youth unemployment, anti socializing etc.

Benin Traditional Council has placed a curse on those sponsoring the killings in Benin all to no avail. The government and security agency are not doing enough to bring the perpetrators to book, there are cases where people arrested for cultism and murder are seen on the streets few months later.

The Government and House of Assembly, Edo state should enact a strict law that will deter cultism in Edo state just like the law on kidnappers.

There are videos of high ranking Edo politicians openly displaying the logo and emblems of this gangs, while others are seen openly fraternizing with the group.
